100 years of National Parks

I pitched a story to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of our National Parks, in an effort to expand our visual content and galleries. I wrote a brief article and consciously chose parks that highlighted the full breadth and variety of national monuments and landscapes across the United States. In addition the the more typical breath-taking view of the west, I also included parks that are markers of cultural value—such as civil rights, political legacy, and educational opportunities.
